Every time I go 2 play my xbox 360 about a half and hour or so my dsl just all of a sudden stops like the light on my modem turns off and I get disconneceted but than it comes back on like 2 minutes later why does it do this?

Do u use your 360 to play online games?

If you are using a phone extension lead to connect your router, change it so that it is connected straight to your BT (or your local phone company) phone socket. This should be the point where your phone line enters your house, this provides the strongest signal for your router. Also it may be worth checking with your ISP to see if they have been having any problems that could cause this.

If you're using a router, make sure that the computers aren't downloading or using a lot of internet bandwidth while you're playing. I know that if I try to download too many things at once, like with bittorrent files, and I get too many connections going through my modem, it will actually just crash, and I have to physically turn it off and restart it.
