Who is legally liable for return of rental deposit
I rented a house with a signed lease agreement in New York State. The owner listed two other people as her agents on the Lease agreement. When we moved out, a month ago, the agent did the walk through and stated the deposit will be returned. The owner has not returned my deposit nor any of my phone calls or emails. What are my legal rights to obtaining my money? Can I sue both the owner and her agents and do I have to wait for 60 days (a reasonable time) or is 30 days considered reasonable by the courts?

    Thanks for your help

The landlors is responsible. From what I could glean fron NYS lawm he has 5 days to return the deposit, failure is consider a misdemeanor.
