Instead of my parents buying me a car. I had a sweet 16 and planned on using that money for a far. Well I had about 8000$ last night me and my dad talked.. and I told him what kind of car I wanted.. and he kept telling me how he liked fourrunners and I kept telling him I didn't like them and I didn't want one so today he went to getme a car and comes home with a fourrunner.. which was more then 8000$ so now I have no money for insurance and I don't have more money that 8.. I told him I wasn't in love with the car because I'm not.. and I feel bad.. what should I do

Did your father tell you he will pick up insurance and maintenance costs since you are now out of money? (You handed over the $8K to him?)

Just, you didn't answer my questions. Who is supposed to take care of insurance and maintenance now, since your dad spent all your money? Gas alone for a Forerunner will probably be expensive to fill up the tank.

Accept it because it's a car and as long as it takes you from point A to point B you should appreciate it.
