Yes I have a kenmore dryer that I bought out of a classified add
Model number 110.86870100
I reset the breaker and made sure it was on heat not air but it still won't work I checked to see if there was any air flow coming out of the vent there is though I don't know how much air should be coming out I am thinking the heating element might be out but I don't want to check in side the dryer cause it was sitting in side someone's storage unit for a few years and we have brown recluse spiders here I already killed 2 since my week here in GA what should I do that won't risk me getting bit and won't cost me a lot of money

If its been sitting outdoors for a period, more than likely the electrical connections have corroded or not making good connections or a mouse could have chewed throug a wire . To correct problem, you are going to have to open unit up. If you cannot to this, you will have to call for service

It hasn't been sitting out side but you do have a good point

Out in a storage unit. I still would have been exposed to unconditioned air whiche could cause corrosion on connections

About how much would it be to have a professional take a look at it

I'd bet that the heating element is gone on it rather than those other things. My folks have a rental house business and would pick appliances off the curb and see what was wrong with them.
Sometimes nothing wrong other than remodeling to a different color. Tenants move out and leave their appliances as well. Go figure.

I was the grateful beneficiary of a nice Kenmore electrical dryer that the heating element had burnt out on. I think it cost around $6 for the element from Sears at that time. Point is, the heating element is pretty accessible on the back of the dryer so not hard to check and pretty easy to replace yourself with normal and typical household tools.
Do a Google search for the schematic for your dryer.

What does the element look like and what would it look like burned I have never been to the back of a dryer so I have no clue what anything looks like or what it is supposed to look like and how to tell the difference

Spiders do not mess with me I use a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol in it

A shot of alcohol usually renders them helpless, kills them without much effort

I have no clue I know nothing about dryers when I look back there I will be shooting in the dark completely

On the upper right picture there is silver tube with the element inside of it

There are also (2) thermostats that control the heat element on the tube

If you can imagine your toaster that is what the heat element is like

A 220 Volt toaster and gets very hot, wire terminals burn, elements burnout

You can test heat elements with a meter, remove 1 wire and check for

Continuity across the element, should have continuity across heat element.
