When trying to run an application recovery on my computer, the recovery will start and ask me what I want to do. It will proceed to a point and then it freezes and stops. What am I doing wrong or what or how to run this.

I'm assuming your using Windows?
So, when an application freezes, close it down and restart it. I never wait for it to respond, because it usually doesn't.
The best why to do this is as follows:
1. program crashes
2. press [CTRL]+[ALT]+[DEL] (click on task manager if using Windows Vista)
3. select the application from the applications tab, and press "End Task"
4. if that doesn't close the application, right-click on the application in the applications tab, and select "Go to process" from the drop down menu.
5.this will take to you a list of all the processes running, with your application selected. Now simply press "end process" at the bottom of the task manager.
If the program continues to crash, uninstall and reinstall it.
Hope this helps :)

Sebastien
