Howdie, I have in my basement, under my front porch a storm shelter. When the contractors built this, they poured all the walls for the basement and the storm shelter. Then came back and used 3/4" plywood to pour the floor for the front porch which acts as a ceiling for the storm shelter. The plywood is still there and I am starting to get mold coming through the plywood do to moisture coming through. From what I can tell is part of the cap on the porch sits on top of a stud wall they built inside the storm shelter that is closest to the house. I don't know if it ties into the house or not. Can a guy remove some of the plywood up to the stud wall to try and get rid of some of the mold and moisture? If need be I can send some pictures, I tried down loading them put they were to big to attach.
