My cub cadet makes a noise in the transaxle when I am going up hill and stops moving it sounds like a grinding noise can anyone help?

Short of replacing the trans, try to mow across the hill instead of up and down the hill. This is not a fix, but may be able to get you to when the mowers go on sale later in sep, or oct. the trans can cost upwards of $650.00 some are cheaper, but if your luck is like mine, it will be higher. Then just put the money towards a new one.
