I have an air compressor with a square d pumptrol pressure regulator. The compressor stops at 100psi, and restarts at 60psi. How do i adjust the pressure regulator to restart at approx 80psi, without changing the shutoff press?

I don't know what your controller look like, usually there are 2 set of crews or little knobs, one for cutin(on) and other for cutout(off), the more pressure you apply to the screw (knob) the higher press it will be on/off... hope this would help... if you set it at 80 you may want toincrease the other to 120, BUT CHECK the TANK RATING FIRST... at 80/100 the compressor may on/off too oftenQuote:
