What are you trying to uninstall?

    NeedKarma
That usually means that someone deleted the folder where the program was installed.

    Free up space
    Hi,
"free up space on my RAM" ?
Do you mean free up space on your hard drive?
The only way to free up space with RAM, (like 256 MB RAM), is to keep a lot of programs from running in the background when you boot up.
If you want to know how to do this, please post back.
    Best wishes,
    fredg

    Hi Chelsie,

You may want to go back and reread the info we have given you. Especially the difference between RAM and storage space. Uninstalling programs and removing files doesn't do anything for RAM, that's storage space. To free up RAM you need to run MSCONFIG and uncheck programs you don't want to load at startup. Of course, uninstalling those programs will prevent them from loading at startup.

If you deleted rather than uninstalled a program, you might want to reinstall, then uninstall it properly.
