    Shiatsu as a complementary therapy.
    Hello,

Can anyone enlighten me on the general consensus with regard to shiatsu as a bodywork that promotes good health / general wellbeing? Someone recommended it to me when I told them I was pregnant.

    Thanks in advance.

Shiatsu may be too rough on you during pregnancy. Most spas offer Mommy to be massages.

However outside of being pregnant massages are wonderful. They clean out your lymphatic systems, boost your immune system. Belly massages can decrease bloating and increase digestion. They are wonderful. Not only physically but also mentally.
