    Why Can't I get pregnant?
    Hi There:)
This is my first time writing in one of these! So I'm hoping that this is very useful. Well first of all I'm 19. I have had one previous miscarriage(which totally devastated me) and since I got the okay from my doctor, I have been trying to conceive again. The first time I got pregnant, it took over a year. I pretty much gave up on the conceiving thing, then all of a sudden, my period was late. I took a HPG and it said it was positive.. I was never happier. Then at 6 weeks, I found out I miscarried. Now 5 months later, I have been Trying to conceive again. Like the first time, its just not happening. Does anybody have any advice? I have been using ovulation kits and everything, still nothing :(.. if somebody could get back to me, that would be sooo great! Thanks a bunch :D

    Myth
Honestly hun it sounds as if your trying too hard. If you want it to badly and you do everything just right and you don't conceive then you need to stop "Trying" sit back and relax and let nature do the rest. It can take healthy couples a year or more of trying to conceive before it actually happens and that's usually after they give up trying. Nature has a way of knowing when it's the right time. Now may not be that time for you. Just make sure your doing it for the right reasons.

If you're having multiple miscarriages, it may be time to discuss it with your doctor. There may be things he/she could help with that will minimize your risk. Its tough to keep going through that, so get yourself checked out.

And try to relax. Stress is never healthy. ;)

I agree with myth on this one; relax. Your only 19 and have a great deal of time to conceive while you are still young. Throw out the OPKs, they are useful in letting you know if you are ovulating or not but to do them every month is stressful in my opinion. Plus in order to get an accurate result you have to hold back on the fluids which can affect your cervical mucus. My advice: drink lots, take prenatals, eat healthy, reduce stress, and have sex frequently. It will happen for yah! Good luck.

I agree also you're still young. The more you relax the better your chances. However, the more sex you have the less likely you will be to conceive. After awhile men start shooting blanks. And just curious, coming from someone who had two miscarriages before my first child, your blood type may have something to do with it. Talk to your doctor. Also, I recommend having sex three to four times a week, for best results.

Having sex every other day is fine; my doctor even told me if a man has a normal sperm count you could do it everyday and be just fine.

I just would like to say thanks to all the people who took the time to give me some great advice!

The miscarriage I mentioned was the first one. I want to ask another question though..
Is there anyone on here who has had a miscarriage(Blighted Ovum) and had a successful pregnancy later on? My doctor said I'm completely healty and that My next pregnancy should be fine, but I'm such a nervous person what I just want hear what other people have to say.. that would be great!
