Numbness in right leg and sharp lower back pains
Are there any causes for SUDDEN numbness in right leg, sharp lower back pain, and sharp pain in lower right leg that persists for 24 hours?

We need more information. Does the onset of these symptoms occur when you are doing a certain activity? How old are you and what is your gender?

What you are describing, to me, sounds like a nerve issue. I believe there are several possibilities, one being a herniated disc. Here is some info:

I'm no doctor, but my son was experiencing this. His was rider's syndrome (I forgot the clinical term for it), caused by sitting and lunging forward for long periods. He did this while working in a callcenter all day with a huge wallet in his back pocket. It affected his sciatic nerve and one of his legs actually became shorter. This caused a lot of other symptoms and he eventually ended up in a wheel chair and had to have months of therapy. Although I doubt you carry a wallet in your back pocket and therefore this may not apply to you. I do hope it helps someone. It took numerous specialists and tons of test, so maybe this will give light to someone before they get as bad as he was.
