I am looking for a work from home typing job. My husband is terminally ill with lung cancer and I am trying to do work from home to bring some money into the house to support my 4 children. Please forward any true work from home ideas that are not scams or dead end searches. I am serious about this type of work since I have a lot of customer service and typing skills. Thank you.

The problem is that computers are so pervasive now, nobody needs to farm out this work, so the opportuinities are mostly scams. What you might find is customer service jobs that are outsourced to work at home people.

I agree with Scott, it's hard to find a work-from-home job that is legit. After all, EVERYONE wants to work from home!

I have several friends who sell home-based products such as Avon, Mary Kay, Vantel Pearls, etc. The friend who sells Vantel Pearls is a stay at home mom and makes more money selling pearls than she did working before she had her kids. Perhaps with your situation these programs wouldn't work out for you, but it might be worth a look.
