Vessel with push button overflow drain
I just installed some vessel on a home made table (hard wood).
I also have the decolav push button w/ overflow drains.(9297)
    Question is :

Because of the overflow design of the drain, the wood is exposed to water (drain hole).
And since there is a gasket at the bottom (just above the threaded drain nut) , there will be water accumulating here.
So how do you protect the wood in this case?

    Thanks

You need to return the 9297 drain assembly and exchange it for a 9290 drain assembly.
