How can I find grant money without paying for a service from another site that I don't want?

I will add things will also depend on what type of grant, for example, one of my old friends, is a grant writer, he is paid to write up grant requests.

If you are wanting funding for a aids center, or if you want to do a child safety program or after school program, these grants will require 100's of pages of documentation, and a properly formated request. In these cases you will pay normally someone to do the request, and still not know that you will get one.
