    Getting pregnant after a miscarriage
    I had a miscarriage in March and have been trying for about 4 months and still have not yet got pregnant is this normal to take so long someone please give me some words of wisdom. Thank you!

    A miscarriage is rough on the body. It takes normal, healthly couples on average a year to get pregnant. 4 months is not long. I would wait a few months a least before speaking to your doctor about it.

    Typically, depending on how far along you were when miscarriage occurred, it takes the body a month to 3 months to fully heal. Macksmom is right, it takes healthy couples up to a year of trying to conceive, and that doesn't include any prior problems such as miscarriage, endometriosis, etc... Dont get frustrated, its not an easy task to make a baby, the conditions have to be exactly right.
