I have been pregnant before and I had a miscarriage. So me and my boyfriend have been trying to have another baby. So I haven't had my period yet. I'm 6days late, I took a test and it was negative. I don't know what to do. Am I pregnant or is it all in my head?

You could be I would suggest taking another HPT using first morning urine this way you body will have built up enough of the HCG hormone used to detect pregnancy.
If it still comes back negative see your doctor for a blood test.
Some women have low levels of the HCG hormone so it takes longer for it to register.

While 6 days after a missed period is usually enough time to register on a pregnancy test, every person builds up hormones differently. If you are pergnant your HCG doubles every two days... so you could wait a few days, take first morning urine test and see. If it is still negative and you still haven't had your period I would set an appt to get a blood pregnancy test at your doctors.

How long ago did you miscarry? Your period usually takes a while to regulate after a miscarriage so this could be why you are late and not receiving a positive pregnancy test. Wait until you are about 14 days late and take another HPT; if it comes out negative see your doctor. Good luck.

I had a miscarriage and fell pregnant the following month. You may not be totally back to normal, or you may be pregnant. I didn't get a positive on a hpt until I was 10 days late. I had taken several before then and all were negative. The positive line was pretty faint, too. Follow the others' advice. Wait a few days and test with first morning urine. If it is still negative after 14 days late go see your doc for a blood test.
