My mums going through the menopause and she has been having really weird hormones and I have been getting the brunt of it ,

Its making me suicidal, I spend days in my room at a time and when I try to talk to her about it she says its me but the thing is we didn't fight before and I am watching what I say around her more than ever.

She has been telling me that her periods are getting really light and further apart and she said she had to tweeze out her whiskers over the last 6 months

I don't know what to do, I just am so upset when I am normally quite a happy person its making me so depressed, I have so much to be happy about and other wise I am so content but she is just making my life hell, she has slapped around the face THREE TIMES these past two weeks over things like hogging the bathroom, dropping a vase ( nothing special , it was just a cheap one from ikea ) and a chocolate pudding !

She says its my attitude but I haven't changed , she says I'm always like this then why have I suddenly ( over the last two weeks ) gotten a different reaction.

And its not been over anything important , she hit me in the arm for asking her why she bought loads of chocolate and went from 0 to 10 in a second. She started saying "leave me alone! Im sick of you always on my back! Just go away".

She doesn't see how she is , and I asked her after building up a lot of courage to go on maybe hrt but she just said its not her its me.

I don't know what to do to make her realise WHAT SHE'S LIKE.

We haven't have a fight in years really until now where its constant and I really can't take it.

I am have become so upset my apatite has gone and I just feel misrable constantly because though I really think its her who has gone a bit coocoo she keeps insulting me, calling me a stupid cow etc.

I don't know what to do..
I am writing this in tears and I normally don't talk about family problems online , or at all.. I normally don't have family problems but I just need advise.

If you are worried about how your mom will react to you if you talk to her about how she is acting why not write a letter? It would be easy for you to get everything out without worrying about her getting upset with you. Tell her everything you just told all of us. Say that it makes you feel bad when she acts this way and that it makes you feel as if you have done something wrong.
