My good man/woman, that is not enough of a description to go on. Let us know its exact location, characteristics, etc...

    Let me see.

As to location, I am in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Characteristics. It is a sort of rashy, reddy rash on my right hand.

    It is a bit itchy.

PS - I am a man. I had hoped my picture would have given it away but it's difficult to tell these days isn't it?

Yes, people don't always use their picture as the avatar. I had really meant where exactly on your hand it was located, but region helps too.

There are several possibilities. It could just be dry skin. It could also be an allergic reaction. I would suggest you try using some sort of anti-histamine cream, e.x hydra-cortisone or diphenhydramine. If you've been out in the garden, it could be poison oak, ivy, sumac, etc. If the rash doesn't clear up or get noticeably better after about 4-5 days, I would visit your GP.
