This may sound stupid, but I'm just wondering;
If a straight guy receives "sexual favors" from a gay male, does that make him gay.
And in your opinion, does this happen often?
The area that I live in is unfortunately very anti gay as is a lot of places, but I have always been curious about that. Would love some in put
No, it doesn't mean that he is gay. It does depend on the age of the person receiving the "sexual favors." Maybe the person who is receiving them is just experimenting. Maybe they both are. Maybe the person receiving them has some bi-sexual tendencies.
I have no idea if this is something that happens often.
How old is the person receiving the favors?
Hopefully, others will come along and post their insights and advice also.
I don't think it is very common, I have a lot of gay friends and a couple of straight ones and I have never heard of this. Then again could just be my circle of friends/ I don't hear as much gossip as I thought.
If the 'straight male' really enjoyed said sexual favour more than from a woman then maybe he is a bit gay. Personally I believe that most people are not 100% gay or 100% straight but like most things in nature there is a continuous gradient. Maybe the receiver was just bi curious, nothing wrong with that.
However there are always circumstances in said situation which would alter the conclusion. If someone lost a bet for example.
There is not a lot of info in the question, I think the circumstances would definitely affect the answer. Why did it happen?

When I was in high school, I was really struggling with who I was. Actually I knew who I was, I just didn't want to be that person. Anyway, I met this guy and became good friends and before I knew it, we were doing stuff. I'm not sure how detailed I can get on here without getting kicked off, lets just say he got what he wanted in many different ways. But to this day he professes to be straight. In fact he is married with children and seems to lead a normal life. By the way, the weird relationship we had lasted 3 yrs...
Maybe he is bi, or maybe he is just a straight dude that thinks that getting off is getting off, regardless of who the partner is..

If the straight guy was receiving oral with no other action on his part it doesn't make him gay (close your eyes and it could be anyone). Now if it was more than that it might make him bi if anything.

Now... well, he might well be straight and that is that...
He could have considered the gay lifestyle, been bi-curious for a little (okay a lotta) while, and come to the conclusion that he prefers the straight lifestyle. I would generally think that one or two experiences, and not three years worth would be sufficient, but maybe he really really really wanted to make sure. Or, he could just be deluding himself.
I know a girl who likes guys, dates guys, and wants to be with a guy. She's been with girls off and on over a few years when younger. She would tell you absolutely, no doubt, she is committed to being with a man as a partner for life.

Even though your question is about the label, I think the real question isn't the label, but its more about whether his attraction to men is gone, faded, repressed, etc...
In my friends case, id say her desires for same sex are mostly gone, or at least not as strong as her desires of heterosexual relationships.
