When ever I flush the toilet it just keeps spinning around how do I fix it?

Jiggle the handle. Turn off the water, too.

Remove the tank lid and see if the ball is seating in the bottom, or the lever may have tangled and won't let the ball go to full travel or the ball may have gotten cocked and won't go down.
