Advise on how to lighten hair that was dyed too dark
I have naturally dark brown hair. I colored it at home using a dark brown color (cornsilk #613) and it turned out black. Now when I look at myself that is all I see. Is there anything that can be done at home to lighten my hair? I've heard to use prell, laundry soap, dish soap or dandruff shampoo. I just want to lighten it so I don't look goth. Any help would be appreciated.

Hair color tends to fade each time you shampoo your hair. You can try fading the color faster by using Prell, clarifying shampoos, dandruff shampoos, or dish detergent. These method are notorious for fading hair color. If it doesn't work, go to a salon and have a corrective color done.
