    Goodman Furnace and Heat Pump
I am shopping for a new HVAC system, have received a quote that sounds very good but I have never heard of a Goodman system. I trust the local dealer. What is the general feeling about Goodman products? My house is about 1250 sq ft, furnace proposed is 90,000 BTU Heat Pump is 14 SEER, located in Western North Carolina. I have had good experiences with other heat pumps but know they just are not effective below 35 degrees, and we do get below that here, frequently. Opinions please, your expertise please.

The installation of air conditioning and heating equipment is as important as the manufacturer, if you feel comfortable with this person then I would not worry too much about the Goodman equipment, it does carry a very good warranty even though it is considered to be a cheaper piece of equipment. Good luck. Mike
