    Why won't my troy bilt riding mower not stop even when the brakes are pushed?
    I have a riding mower that was made in 2000. It will run but won't stop when the brakes are pushed. What could be the problem. This system is way different than my craftsman!

    Look on the transaxle's right hand side to find a round disc. This is your brake. Further to the right of this disc you will find a nut on a treaded rod. Tighten this nut a little at a time to see if you obtain brakes.
