My son flushed his wooden toy car down the toilet and the snake is not helping, what can I pour down it? Maybe somerthing to eat away at the wood?

Call a plumber while its still accessible.
The things that I know that can get at wood (caustics and acids) wouldn't do much fast, can be hazardous, and anyway... just cause it gets unstuck wherever it is now doesn't mean it won't get stuck again down the line.
Hate to have to rip up a yard and spend several grand cause a toy car was pushed down the line just to get stuck downstream.
I'm not an expert so wait for one to chime in. there are some great people here but it might take a while before they see this post. Me, id be on the phone pronto or taking apart some plumbing in the house. Can you tell where its stuck? Is there a cleanout nearby?
The toy is ,no doubt, lodged in the trap. If this were my call I would try to work a closet auger,(see image) behind the toy and jerk it down to where I could reach up and grab it. Failing that I would pull the toilet, lay it on its side and go in from the bottom and try to either push it past the trap down into the bowl or pull it on through the bottom. Pulling a toilet and going in from the bottom is a dirty messy job best left to us dirty messy plumbers. Good luck in whatever you decide. Tom
