    Hi there,
I've recently started working on Celeron 1.5v processor,64MB RAM & it keeps giving out this continuos beep sound, but not like a normal beep code(nothing related to RAM,PROCESSOR) its like a tune type of sound & I've tried stripping off IDE's, RAM and still get the sound. Its no-where in the BIOS either, its an old Socket 370 Gigabyte M/B.Any help ?

    Hi Moyenda,

This problem may be due to a weak battery. There will be a small battery on your mainboard. If this battery goes weak, it starts beeping. Try changing the battery.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi Mate,

This battery's still OK, I tried changing the jumper next to the speaker (Its a built in speaker),tried opening & closing the circuit but still goes! I even thought maybe the floppy controller somehow went faulty.
