    Drip pan for condensate
Hi, I am going to change my air handler soon but I currently have a leak do to both drip pans rusting out. The air handler is leaking into the secondary drip pan that is code because the unit sits over a livable space. Since I need a new secondary pan anyway I was going to change it now and wanted to know if there is a composite, plastic, pan available rather then having the sheet metal shop make up one. It is my understanding the new air handler will have a composite, plastic, pan so I wanted to install a rustproof one as the secondary drip pan. I can't find any suppliers... any ideas Thanks

Call a local air conditioning supply house, they normally have prefabricated pans that are fairly inexpensive,They also sell a spray coating for sheet metal pans. You will have a hard time finding a plastic pan, Good luck. Mike
