I watched it in the late 80's... Does anyone remember this movie? :D

I don't remember much but there was a little boy, he grabs on to the beard of a wizard (looks like a big mop) and it takes him somewhere:confused: . There is also a bridge that he goes under and then there is like a treasure or pot of gold, maybe a troll... I remember the treasure looking like colorful sparkle streamers... it is driving me crazy.

The only "wizard" movie I can find is the fred savage nintendo one; and I know it's not that one. :(

If it involves travel by beard (yuck!), it's almost certainly Mio in the Land of Faraway from 1987.

Now does anyone know the movie with the Bridge, (possibly a troll), and some gold/treasure?

I believe it is called "The boy who loved trolls. I was curious myself as I remember this movie from when I was a kid and it was bugging me. Now I have to watch it again to make sure.
