:( I lyke emo clothing,punk,and goth.So like I like emo,emotronica,electro,electronica,house,techno,tr ance,alternative,j-rock,j-pop,rock,and screamo.So I want to be able to discuss thos with my friends but I cant,and my style,you could pretty much say I'm emo or w/e but I don't cut myself.I can be suicidal sometimes but not all the time.so how do I explain and let out my feelings and stuff to my friends because they only listen to the "hip hop and rap music" which I used to listen to but not anymore.so what do I do and how do I tell them I like what I like with out them being freakin hypocrites like the always are?? I want to discuss clohing and music with them!

Okay, so you like certain styles of clothing and music. Maybe your friends aren't into the same things that you are. That's okay. Each to their own.

Do you like some of the same things that they do? Why do you think that they are hypocrites? Knowing your answers to those questions will help people in providing the best answers for you.

Im like you kind of.. I have emo clothing (not that much tho) and I absolutely love my chemical romance. Most my best mates like mcr but arnt emo influenced style like me but I can still talk to them about what I like and if they don't want to listen (which they always do because they love my 'uniqueness') I've always got one of my best mates who is exactly like me accept she wears a bit more emo clothes than me.
I don't feel that comfortable being call 'emo' I rather be known as unique and I do my own thing

I agree, don't get sucked into a crowd of fake people, I also don't like being called" emo"

Keep your friends but find other too other that share the same interest in you
