Honda civic 1999 Hesitating to accelerate.
My Honda Civic 1999 is having a few issues. All has been running great up until a few days ago. My Engine check light just came on while I was driving but noticed nothing different until I came to a stop where car was idling very low causing car to shake. I brought car home and visually checked all seemed OK. Later I went to drive it again and it was like I had NO Acceleration what so ever. Basically no power. Then about 10-30 seconds later the power would come back. ANY Ideas as to were I should start troubleshooting?

    Thanks
    Eric

Have you changed fuel filter lately? If they get clogged it can cause this kind of behavior

Since the Check Engine Light came on, a code should be stored that will point you in the right direction. If you take your car to AutoZone, they will read the code for free.
