Pill 72 is The Morning After pill, and why did you take two at a time? One will usually do the trick.

I have to ask why you took both together also. You are supposed to take one then wait 12 hours to take the other.

If you take two at one time, it may not have the correct effect or cause other side effects. You are suppose to follow the correct instructions that come with the pill and as told to you when you purchased them.

I took the morning after pill a long long time ago and they told me to take the two pills together or 8-12 hours apart. I was told I may feel more side effects if I took them together however the effectiveness is the same.

Exactly. When you are taking any kind of medication you should always follow the instructions, they are there for your safety.

However, I did find this information for you :

-Plan B (progestin-only) - made for use as emergency contraception. The two pills can be taken in two doses (one pill right away, and the next pill 12 hours later), or both pills can be taken at the same time. Some women feel sick and throw up after taking ECPs. Taking both pills at the same time will not increase your chances of having these side effects. If you throw up after taking ECPs, call your doctor or pharmacist.

    Source : Emergency Contraception

Now if this information is correct, taking two at one time is okay. But like Fr_Chuck said, if there are specific instructions, you should follow them. :)
