I personally don't believe that its as black and white as that. I think that as you gain more life experiences that it allows you greater perspective in every situation. Which I suppose does make things easier.

What I have found is that as I've gotten older I've gotten less in my way. What I mean by that is that when I was younger I would get myself into this situations that would make me unhappy and would keep myself there. As I've gotten older I can pull myself out of tight spots and feeling blue rather quickly.

I feel as if when I was your age I had a hard time appreciating everything that was around me and all that I have. As I've gotten older I've become more grateful for everything. I've also allowed myself to be more trusting, loving and open with people which has allowed me to be happier.

I personally think that in some ways yes life does get easier as you get older.
When you are young the most little things seem to be the end of the world at that time .
And there is a lot of stress as we grow up not nowing where were going or if we are strong enough to be what we want to be , or smart enough. Not feeling pretty enough. Exc.
As you get older it seems at least for me that you learn to just roll with the punches and
If something don't turn out like you thought or wished then it must have not been meant to be so you pick yourself up and try again. Then once you except yourself for what you are
And what you have become life is easier to accept. Also when you get older other peoples opinions don't bother you as much, who cares what they think about you. Every one is different and intitled to their opinion.

I think that life doesn't really get easier, but it gets to be a better quality. I moved out of my parents house when I was 18. I had a lot more fun, gained a lot of experience, and had to learn to manage a budget and pay for everything myself. It surely wasn't easy, but I liked it better. Now that I've been out of their house for a while, I've settled down more. I don't stay out all night nearly as much, I don't have partys as much, but I still have as much fun as I did then with all my friends. We do different things now, but they seem to be just as fun as the wreckless things we used to do. Again, not any easier to be more responsible, but it feels better and more rewarding.

So no, I don't really thing it gets any easier. It just feels better because you don't have to rely on anyone else to help you. I'm not saying that it's hard... it's just not easy. I would much rather support myself and worry about money, a job, and clean up after myself, than to be living with my parents and have it 'easy.'
