CD changer shows an "ERROR" when I attempt to put a CD in. It will not take the CD and nothing plays. Help!!

I just bought my 03 Accord with 54k miles and it does exactly the same thing. I have read others' questions on this and the backlighting problem and will be calling Honda's service rep tomorrow. You can bet they've heard about the problem and have dealt with it before. They need to replace the entire unit. This should be a recall; unfortunately it doesn't involve a safety issue. Hopefully they'll work with me though.
