    Taking showers
At what age should your child stop taking showers with you?

I am not sure that they should have ever started personally

Some children are fearfull with the thought of water hitting them where they may be used to taking baths. My son who is 4 just started to take showers with my hubby. He feels like he is a big boy. There is nothing sexual or shamefull about it. He knows that when he becomes comfortable with the whole shower thing he will be on his own

Well, we have always been open and never even worried about this. My daughter and 13 year old son don't take showers with us anymore but if we needed to we would stick the younger two boys in the shower real quick get them washed up and send them to get dressed. The kids always take a bath together. My daughter even gets in with our youngest son, he is 4 and she is 10. Rarely but it tends to just stop, on it's own, my oldest was around 6 or 7 and my daughter was around 5 or 6...
No shame is what I say and the kids have never commented me or their father in a disrespectful or shameful way. Good luck.
