    Overclocking failure
Recently my computer was tampered with and cables removed.
My monitor was then broken and I now have a temporary CRT. Although it works with all computers tried with, on mine it doesn't half the time. It just stays on standby mode despite being plugged into the right sockets properly.
The main problem is when I get the monitor working, before loading it says that overclocking has failed. This means that my 1gig will no longer be running at 3gig. I did not personally overclock the computer myself. The computer was built for me and they did it themselves when loading windows etc. How can I fix my overclocking problem?
Also, after about being on the computer and using it, the screen freezes up and the computer no longer works, I am forced to turn it off.

    Any help would be great

It sounds like they might have been overclocking your GPU, try another video card.
