I've bought a lexmark printer 2months ago and just recently it's saying that I have a black ink cartridge missing when I'm about to print,but I don't so can anyone please enlighten me with this problem I've tried everything.:confused: :confused: :confused:

Hi Jaynee what sometimes happens when you buy a new printer they only ever give you a quarter full cartridge of ink it may have run out of ink thars why its not recognising it . Does it still print ?

I believe you just identified your problem. Some Lexmark cartridges have been designed to error out if they have been refilled. This is because, Lexmark does not recommend using refilled cartridges. In fact, Lexmark will pull the warranty on any printer with one installed and print quality problems.
