    Anyone use TanDeck?
Can anyone give me a review of their experience with Tandeck, an all plastic decking material?

Ive never used it, but I've seen demos of it being used and have handled the product,
It seems like good stuff. We've never had a call to use it, because of the price I guess.
You don't see any nail or screw holes, and if were thinking of the same stuff I believe its 2parts, you install the bottom first and then snap the top over it,
You'll need the same tools as you would a composite deck or treated. However the plastic will wear out the saw blade a lot faster than the other too.
I don't see a problem using it, but for the money most will go with composite,

hello, I've been a user and supplier of tandeck for 6 years. A professional deck builder for 17 years, researched and tested and traveled the u.s. for other wood alternatives and have not found a better product than tandeck. 100% h.d.p.e. recycled plastic made from pop bottles and milk jugs. The material does not fade or stain and has a lifetime warentee. Unlike all the composite material that has a porous surface that would absorb all stains and spills because the downfall is that they have wood in the material which is why they offer only a 15-20 year residential warentee. The manufacture of tandeck extrudes many different profiles, but I think the toungue and groove style decking is the most popular with no exposed fasteners. We stock 7 different colors in 3/4x6(actual size)x12,16,20's, 4x4x12,2x4x16,2x2x8, for custom railing, all material is solid color through and through, which makes the end of all plastic a finished look.over one hundred very satisfied homeowners are pleased that there is finally a product that is truly a NO maintaince material with matching railing. Installation is very easy, same tools as wood and the blades and bits lasts at least 4 times longer than wood. Tandeck can be drilled, routed, sawned, chiseled just like wood. Possibilities are endless. Best of all is that it is less expensive than most composites.inquiries at [email protected]
