    Replacement shower fixture sticks out
We are currently remodeling our bathroom and bought a new shower only price pfister fixture. The newer model required that we have a plummer come and change the plumbing configuration to install. The wall that the fixture and plumming is against is concrete block and now the fixture for the handle sticks out of the wall (even after the wall has been tiled) by about 1/2 inch. Is there anything we can do to decoratively fix this problem??

The plumber should have broke out the cement block and recessed the valve. Short of mudding and tiling the valves wall there's not much you can do. You are faced with two options. (1) you c qan redo the shower valve and recess it **or** (2) You can build out the tile to the desired thickness. Good luck, Tom

Tom is correct . Afraid the plumber did not do the install correctly. Now that it's there you can have him come back and change it or try to hide it yourself. You could take another tile and cut out a hole for the handle, lay this extra tile on top of the other tile. This may only give you a bit more than 3/8 in. improvement.
