How a felon would obtain a passport
My husband is a registered sex offender for something that happened about 10 years ago with a 17 year old he thought was 18... at the time he was 22. He is done serving his time and done with his probation. Friends of ours asked us to go to Mexico with them this Christmas for a vacation. What I am wondering is how he would obtain a passport? We always thought that Felons could not leave the country

Apply just like anyone else. If the person is on parole or probation, they may have restrictions from travel. And those with warrants may be denied. And certain countries may deny entrance.

Check out the government web site on it.

    Hello blue:

Nahhh. I have a passport. If they give one to ME, they'll give one to your old man.
