at random times when I'm sad, stressed or mad.. my heart will do this funny thing that I'm not quite sure how to explain. Its sort of like a vibration.. it like vibrates from the heart to just above the bottom of my left rib for about 5-10 seconds then stops. And sometimes my right arm will go frizzy or numb and its not because of cut off circulation. It was doing it in class a few months ago so I told my teacher he said its from stress and stuff but I don't know. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

These are called palpitations and can very well be caused by stress.

Yes, that can be an effect of the palpitations. Do you have anxiety problems?

Most likely.. in fact its very probable..

I doubt this is a factor but I do have an overractive theiroid
