Can't you give it more than a month before you throw in the towel?

Here is a good resource site: Divorce & Child Custody - Resource Center

Oh the irony in the name you chose. :D

Here is a good website for you to take a look at : DivorceNet - Divorce In Florida

It tells you what you need to do and what is involved with getting a divorce, property division, and child custody. I hope this helps. :)

I'm sorry, but I do not normally like to give serious advice in PM.

DO YOU THINK I AM WRONG TO FILE FOR DIVORCE AFTER A MONTH?
    Quote:

It depends on the situation. What happened to make you want to file?
    Quote:

WELL, I DID NOT FILE YET... BUT I AM NOT IN LOVE WITH MY WIFE... I MARRIED HER BECAUSE I HAVE A DAUGHTER WITH HER AND SHE IS PREGNANT WITH MY SON AND I AM IN THE MILITARY AND WANTED THEM TO HAVE BENEFITS... BUT I HAVE BEEN IN LOVE WITH THE SAME GIRL FOR 7 YEARS
What branch, and where are you stationed? On many bases you can go to base legal and they will usually be more than happy to help you out.

I know your heart was in the right place by wanting them to have benefits, but in my opinion it is wrong to stay with someone just because of the kids. Staying together without loving one another causes fights, and that can hurt the kids seeing this day to day even more than if you got a divorce.

    Wait, wait, wait.

You don't love her, but don't mind having sex and making babies with her?

You are active duty as well? Your children will be eligible for benefits regardless of your marriage status. She might also have a claim on your retirement if you stay in 20.

She has to be married to you for 10 years in order to get half of your retirement. Get a divorce! Be prepared to possibly have custody of the kids if she is a stay at home mom and unable to provide substantial income to take care of herself. With all of this in mind remember what is most important is your happiness and the well being of your children. You will just resent them all if you don't get out of the marriage. As someone said before your kids will have full benefits and will know you as a loving father, if you are one. It will outweigh your failed relationship with their mother.
