My son is 13
he wants to come live with me I have never had to pay child suport but Ive always taken care of his needs. His father will not let him come live with me. My son ask daily when he can come live with me. Im afraid we will go to court and the judge will refuse him and Im stuck paying child suport and he is with me most of the time already

It is very possible the judge to refuse your claim and to impose to you paying child support.

As noted in other similar threads the CHILD never chooses. A minor child can only express their preference to a court. The court will then decide based on local law and the best interests of the child.

So the only way custody is going to change is if you go to court and petititon for a change.
