    Custody 'father' unfit!
I have a 3 yr old daughter... her 'father' and I were married for about a year and a half.(a week after she was born) and have been going through a divorce for a year and a half. He has not see and her or paid child support in a yr. (all his choice) we agreed to supervised visits every other Saturday.. until we went to court... however as I said he has not bother to see her in year. He was mentally and physically abusive for a year... and a drug addict for years. Has been arrested and in several rehabs.. he is still doing meth and selling it. He is only trying to get my daughter to get me back.. he has even threatened to hurt her t hurt me!! Now he's filed contempt against me claiming I am using drugs which is false and that I've kept her from him.. he has no proof. But I'm stilll very scared... please help with how I can PROVE how unfit he is!! I'lm scared of my daughter going off with him... lawyers seem unsure of the chances of proving something like this... but I don't see how with the evidence and his past... we are now going to have a jury trial for divorce.. which was my choice.. hoping that people seeingand hearing his violent messages etc... would see the truth!!

A jury trial may be your best bet. The lawyers are right ; these things are very difficult to prove. Good luck!
