    Refrigerator circuit
    I am moving my refrigerator and need to know if it is requird to be its own dedicate circuit? Does it need to be a GFI

    A frig does not need it's own circuit, but it is recommended. A frig only draws about 3 or 4 amps, but anything else on the circuit may overload the circuit.No , do not use a GFI. Refrigeration compressors are known for small ground fault currents that trip GFI devices.
