Screws to secure toilet to short
I'm putting a new toilet in my bathroom after remodeling. I haven't put the wax ring on yet but after placing the bowl over the sewer pipe to see how it fits the screws to secure the toilet bowl to the pipe are level with the lip of the porcaline so there is no way to attach the bolts. Is there someway to lengthen these screws?

You need a flange extender you can find one in any local hardware store

Not lengthen the screws, but you can buy longer screws.

I worked for a while with a plumber and he told me the proper way to correct this is with a flange extender. I had this problem in a bath remodle about 9 years ago.
