Dryer not Drying all the way
I have a GE dryer that doesn't seem to dry all the way. I've cracked it open and cleaned out all the dust buildup from the vents (there was quite a bit) and the blower moter and blades. Should be clean as a whistle now. The heating element was clean and shows no cracks and looks to heat up OK when I turn it on.. It takes about two normal cycles to dry everything.
I haven't checked any t-stats, etc because I'm clueless on how to check those - NOT an electrician!
    Thanks all!

We had our exhaust vent cleaned out from the dryer to the exterior of the house and saw a dramatic increase on how quickly our clothes got dry.

Could your thermostat be bad? Maybe it isn't telling the dryer to get hot enough.

No idea on the t-sts - again, that's out of my level of expertise. How would I check that?
    Thanks

Is the dryer getting hot? Are they just tumbling, but no heat?

Yes, it heats up but doesn't dry them all the way.
