Is it okay not to remove wisdom tooth
    Dear everyone:

I haven't removed my wisdom tooth yet, it grows well, without hurting after the first couple times. Do you think I should get it removed anyway?

    Thank you:)

If it isn't causing you problems with your bite or causing you pain there's no real reason to have it removed. If it is partially or fully impacted and painful it would be wise to remove it. If it is growing in at a weird angle and pushing your other teeth out of alignment, it might be wise to have it removed. Talk to your dentist and see what he/she thinks. If you do have to have it removed it's not that big of a deal; I had all four of mine out at once and was back on my feet and back to normal activities a day later.

If it's not causing you any discomfort and you can keep it real clean and if there is a tooth directly above or below it you should be able to keep it. If there is no opposing tooth it's a good idea to have it removed as it will probably overerupt anyway. If the tooth is impacted and not causing a problem you can leave it but have it xrayed every 3-5 yrs to be sure there isn't a cyst forming around it.
