I rented a car and I got a ticket... the problem is I was not able to pay the ticket and now its way past due.. I was informed that dmv will send letter to the rental company and the rental company will charge this ticket from the credit card that I used and if it declined then they will send the ticket back to the dmv.. I know that the court will probably give me a notice but do I still need to go if I will just pay for the ticket and whatever fine there will be?by the way city is brisbane... please answer my question

Normally if you just go talk with them, they will work out a payment plan for you.

I know if people just talked with the clerks in the court where I was a officer, they would try and help them. They just want the money, I have seen them even send some tickets over to collection agencies.
