Brush their teeth, even though I have not figured out how to get them to rinse and spit yet. Just kidding about the rinse and spit. But brush their teeth and check their diet with your vet.

If it is the ammonia like odor in a young puppy, it will go away by itself before the puppy is 3 months old. If it is an older puppy with general dog breath, feeding a dry chow may help.
