You did the smart thing and got yourself an attorney, luckily that will take a lot of the headache out of it.
But again, I don't see you running into too many problems...I mean there are always a few setbacks that you have to expect going into the court system...but I don't see any judge returning those children to her especially since you have mentioned some of her past history with children.
